Retro / Micro Beer Jerseys got its start in Seattle as The Retro Image Apparel Company in 2002 by entrepreneur Roger Mallette. (Retro) Retro first produced tee shirts, aprons and baby wear featuring imprinted vintage poster media. The inspiration for Retro came from the 1923 Bauhaus Exhibition poster. We have since grown from a sole proprietorship working out of a garage to a globally recognized provider of cycling apparel. In late 2011 we became Retro / Micro Beer Jerseys LLC and have license agreements with artwork from iconic brands such as Star Trek, Dr. Seuss, Gumby, Smokey Bear, Chiquita Banana, CBGB, Black Cat Fireworks, The Horton Collection, and a dozen or so micro-breweries throughout the U.S. We hope that our designs put a smile on your face and bring you back to a time when life was carefree! |
